Frequently Asked Questions

Homeowner FAQ’s

1. Why Do I need a Home Inspection?
A house is a complex and dynamic connection of systems and conditions. Each one is expensive and has a life cycle. Each one wears out differently. Each requires different maintenance and is vulnerable to poor installation, quick repairs and the environment. It only makes sense to learn as much as possible about this expensive investment. If you are a Seller, the inspection helps identify problems and even safety hazards before any disclosure or liability.
2. What does it cost?
The cost varies depending upon the size and type of home. Since homes vary considerably, so does the time it takes to inspect. Send an email or call and We will get back to you quickly with a quote.
3. What does the inspection normally uncover?
As much as we can from maintenance issues to mechanical defects and possible safety hazards. The Inspections are non-invasive, visual examinations of the accessible areas of the residential property. • Exterior walls, doors, windows and materials
  • Basement foundations (If visible), crawlspaces, slabs, & drains
  • Electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, piping and wiring

  • Interior walls, doors, flooring.

We do not inspect or comment on:

  • Cosmetic or items
  • Radon
  • Mold
  • Lead
  • Pest
